Message from Shirley These international lullabies are traditional songs, with the exception of Vinnie’s and my original song, “Now I Lay Me.” We thought they would not only be pleasant to hear at bedtime for children and parents, but educational for the children in this Global World.
This album of lullabies is dedicated to Vinnie’s mother, Rose Zummo, who passed away this past summer. She was an inspiration to Vinnie, and to everyone who had ever come in contact with her. We miss you, Rose. Vinnie has marvelously arranged them with such creativity and sensitivity, and I thank him from the bottom of my heart. The man is a musical genius, and I’m so fortunate to be associated with him. Janice is a vocal virtuoso with a voice like an angel, and I thank her so much for the beauty she has added to this album.
